From April 25 at 8 p.m. – April 26 at 8 a.m., payments through the MyParking app or Pay as Guest using Interac debit cards may be impacted. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and other non‑Interac cards will continue to work. Physical pay machines are not expected to be affected. If you experience issues, please use a non‑Interac card.

Residential parking regulations

Residential parking in Calgary is managed through Calgary Parking Policies with approval from City Council. Enforcement is done 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Parking permits are not transferable from one zone to another.

How to modify parking restrictions in a Residential Parking Zone (RPZ)

If residents feel parking restrictions are no longer required on their block,  they can call 311 or submit an online service request using the drop-down prompts below under the Provide Details section:

  1. For ‘nature of your concern’, select ‘residential parking’
  2. For ‘specify your residential parking inquiry’, select ‘add/modify parking sign’
