ParkPlus has been updated to make parking payments easier and more consistent across platforms. Both the MyParking app and ParkPlus web now give you more choice and a smoother experience.
Here's what's new
- The Virtual Pay Machine is now called Pay as Guest, giving you a one-time payment option without needing a ParkPlus account.
- Pay as Guest is fully integrated into both the web and app menus.
- The MyParking app login screen has been redesigned with three clear options:
- Login – for ParkPlus account holders
- Pay as Guest – for one-time payments
- Create new account – for new ParkPlus users
- Managing low-balance notifications is now available in the app.
- Auto top-up and save card features are now available on the web.
Why these changes were made
We heard from Calgarians that “Virtual Pay Machine” was confusing and that some features were only available on certain ParkPlus platforms. These updates make ParkPlus more consistent and user-friendly, giving you clearer choices for paying and managing your account. Low-balance alerts, auto top-up, and saved cards reduce the chance of interruptions while you park.
